31 Day Journal Challenge
I've always wanted to write.
Whether it is for work,
or writing something for my wife, I love putting pen to paper - or in
this case fingers to keyboard - and getting my thoughts recorded.
On several occasions over the past seven years, I've
set off to start a blog and sometimes gotten mildly consistent in
updating it, only to find I didn't have the discipline or energy to
continue.
So when I saw this 31 day journal challenge online, I thought it would be a great way to see if I had the chops to do this.
Why
I want to do this is there is something noble, almost romantic about
being able to look back at points of time in our lives and see what we
were doing/feeling/experiencing right then.
I want to do that. I want to experience that.
With
all this said, I plan on following the plan to the letter, meaning not
going off on to many tangents, but simply staying on course each day
with the assignment. I'm sure some of my journals will be short
(tomorrow's is the six word challenge) and others will be longer.
But that, I think, is like life itself. Some days have many words needed and others do not.
